The Children’s Inn at the National Institutes of Health is a residential "place like home" for sick children and their families. Children come from across the country and around the world to stay together with their families in The Inn’s healing environment while receiving groundbreaking medical treatments at the NIH, the world’s leading biomedical research center. While the NIH takes care of the child’s medical needs, The Inn tends to the child’s heart, soul and spirit.

See the Feb. 19 Children's Inn feature by Dr. Nancy Snyderman, NBC Chief Medical Editor, on the NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams.
Watch Washington Mystics charismatic shooting guard Alana Beard share her talents and contagious spirit with children from The Inn during warm-ups before game night at the Verizon Center. Comcast SportsNet captures Alana at her best, motivating youngsters during their toughest times.

This year, when you receive your federal tax rebate, please consider donating a portion of it to The Children's Inn. Every gift makes a difference in the lives of the more than 1,400 children and their families who stay at The Inn each year. For more information, please contact Fern Stone at 301-451-9453. Thank you!

"When we return to Guatemala, I will miss everything... the Hospital, The Children’s Inn, and my friends at the hospital and The Inn."
