The Children’s Inn at NIH welcomes major capital gifts, and is pleased to offer the following naming opportunities in recognition of the generosity of its donors. Plaques within each room recognize the donor. All gifts of $1,000 and above are recognized in The Inn’s annual listing of donors in the Donor Hall and in the Annual Report. Capital gifts of $10,000 and above and cumulative gifts of $25,000 and above are recognized permanently in the Donor Hall. Naming Opportunities on the Lower Level: Administrative Office Suite - $350,000 Arts & Crafts Room - $100,000 Plenty of room for painting, drawing, pasting, and creating! For use by Inn residents during structured activities and free time. Business Center - $50,000 Parents can telecommute and stay connected with work and other responsibilities via fax and Internet. Copying, conference calling and other services will also be available. Conference Room - $100,000 A private meeting space for board members, staff and residents. Connector Corridor - $100,000 A central space that connects the old and new wings, and includes public display space for The Inn’s Donor Hall. Covered Patio - $75,000 A quiet retreat for The Inn’s indispensable volunteers, just off the Volunteer Lounge. Multi-purpose Room - $150,000 Spacious, sun-filled venue for the family activities and events that help residents meet each other and share their common challenges. Teen Lounge - $75,000 By special request from our Parent Advisory Group: a big-screen TV, video games and an air-hockey table make this the perfect hangout for older patients and their siblings. Volunteer Lounge - $100,000 “Headquarters” for the nearly 300 tireless workers who give their time and talents to The Children’s Inn and its residents. A small kitchen and dining area, space for coats and purses, a chance to relax. Naming Opportunities on the Upper Level: The Second Floor – The Harry & Jeannette Weinberg Floor Connector Corridor - $100,000 A public space with views onto the Cookout Terrace that connects the old and new wings. Cookout Terrace - $75,000 A wonderful place to enjoy an outdoor dinner from the grill. Kitchens - $250,000 (4) Mealtime is one of the greatest times at The Children’s Inn. Here, in our spacious, well-equipped kitchens, moms and dads can produce the kind of home-cooked meals that bring happiness to children who have spent the day in hospital rooms and clinics. Gathering Rooms (2)- $25,000 each Each of The Inn’s Gathering Rooms is designed as a place for children and their families to use for conversation, to play games, watch a movie or just have some down time. The three gathering rooms are called: Quiet Room, Panda’s Den (named), and La Rinconcita "The Little Corner." |
