Pro Bowl Linebacker London Fletcher showed what a true sport he is when the Redskins' charismatic player visited Isabelle Kramer, 13, the winner of the Post/Children's Inn "Hip, Happy, and Healthy" Essay Contest at her school June 7th. WASHINGTON NATIONALS PITCHER JOHN LANNAN VISITS THE CHILDREN’S INN AT NIH THURSDAY
Washington Nationals Pitcher John Lannan visited The Children's Inn to lift the spirits and play ball with the children's families staying at The Inn. Lannan read the children’s book, “Casey at the Bat” to youngsters, played catch with children and delivered a check. Lannan selected The Inn to receive the $7,500 donation when he was nominated for the 2009 Roberto Clemente Award presented by Chevy. More...
