Lakewood Country Club, one of Montgomery County, Maryland's premier country clubs, is a 193-acre facility featuring rolling landscapes with moderate slopes. Our amenities include an 18-hole Rees Jones designed championship golf course, three swimming pools, indoor and har-tru tennis courts and a complete fitness center. The club offers fine dining, casual dining and banquet facilities.
Lakewood's Golf Course has undergone a complete redesign by famed golf course architect, Rees Jones. The course features ten par-4 holes, four par-3 holes and four par-5 holes, with at total length of more than 7,000 yards. Tees, fairways, and greens consist of creeping bent grass.

Take 495 WEST to 270 NORTH to exit 6-B, "Darnestown Road/Route 28 WEST" Exit. Take 28 WEST to the fourth traffic light, which is Darnestown Road. Make a LEFT onto Darnestown Road. Take I-95 SOUTH toward 495 WEST. From 495 WEST, take 270 NORTH to exit 6-B, "Darnestown Road/Route 28 WEST" Exit. Take 28 WEST to the fourth traffic light, which is Darnestown Road. Take the George Washington Memorial Pkwy to 495 WEST (toward Maryland) to 270 NORTH to exit 6B, "Darnestown Road/Route 28 WEST" Exit. Take 28 WEST to the fourth traffic light, which is Darnestown Road. Make a LEFT onto Darnestown Road. Continue to the next traffic light, which is Glen Mill Road. Turn LEFT onto Glen Mill Road. Bear RIGHT at the second street, which is a continuation of Glen Mill Road. Drive about a 1/2-mile where Lakewood Country Club will be on your left.
Go NORTH on Falls Road Take Falls Road to South Glen Road. Make a LEFT onto South Glen Road (Left is South Glen, Right is Democracy Blvd.). Take South Glen Road until it dead-ends over the one-lane bridge at the stop sign, which is Glen Mill Road. Make a RIGHT onto Glen Mill Road. Follow Glen Mill Road through several road curves and several miles. Lakewood Country Club will eventually be on your right side. If you hit Wooton Parkway or Darnestown Road, you have gone a bit too far.
Turn LEFT on Wooton Parkway, toward Falls Road. Keep going down Wooton Parkway, across Falls Road. You'll pass Wooton High School and a Giant supermarket. Shortly, you'll reach Glen Mill Road (If you reach Darnestown Road, you have gone a block too far). Make a LEFT onto Glen Mill Road. Lakewood Country Club will be on your LEFT.
Take 270 SOUTH. Follow Route 270 SOUTH to the Shady Grove Road WEST Exit. Follow Shady Grove Road WEST to Darnestown Road. Turn LEFT onto Darnestown Road. The first RIGHT will be Glen Mill Road. Turn RIGHT onto Glen Mill Road. Bear RIGHT at the second street, which is a continuation of Glen Mill Road. Drive about a 1/2-mile where Lakewood Country Club will be on your left.
