Washington Nationals Pitcher John Lannan visited The Children's Inn to lift the spirits and play ball with the children's families staying at The Inn. Lannan read the children’s book, “Casey at the Bat” to youngsters, played catch with children and delivered a check. In one of his last public appearances as a quarterback for the Washington Redskins, Mark Brunell huddles with youngsters at The Children’s Inn during an afternoon of football fun. Mark was The Inn’s first Sports Ambassador and distinguished himself with his trademark wit, intelligence and spontaneity. The children at The Inn admire and wish him well and remain devoted fans. |
