AND MUCH MORE…
The Inn’s Community GardenThe Community Garden is a special place where families can work together, nurture and harvest organic vegetables and herbs and leave something behind for future families that will visit The Inn. Nutrition is a very important factor in families’ lives, especially when children are ill. The garden will allow The Inn community to produce fresh, organic vegetables that families can use in cooking their meals. Incorporated in the vegetable garden is an international vegetable and plant section, which will allow the residents to reconnect with their cultures and remind them of home.
Teens make new friends and great memories during two summer teen retreats. During the retreats, teens bond and build confidence with food and friendship! Teens share all of their meals together starting with a fun pancake breakfast at The Inn. Throughout the days, teens work on team building projects and participate in activities with their peers involving music, art, and tons of fun! The retreats are open to all teens staying at The Inn. |
