Educational support for the entire family is available at The Inn to enhance continued learning for patients, siblings, and parents. Our goal is to ensure that students continue to grow through learning during classes, activities and field trips. Educational opportunities include English as a Second Language Classes, Arts INNplace and EducateINN programs for patient and sibling students at The Inn.

Accredited class instruction is provided to patients at the NIH Hospital School.

The Children's Inn Learning Center

The Inn's Learning Center provides an interactive and individualized learning environment by offering both personal work areas and space for group activities. The Center serves a variety of purposes as library, classroom and educational resource center for families’ needs. The Learning Center’s resources include a variety of books for different interests and ages, a Smart Board for on-the-spot class lessons and a Pre-K learning station. Components of EducateINN, The Inn's education program, such as LearnINN study halls, ExploreINN educational activities, and one-on-one tutoring, all take place in the Learning Center.
